After a rather tough play, Algar FC's Francisco Matos got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 20 played minutes Parceiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Aguiar. Gonçalo Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Miguel Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Rodrigues skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, André Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parceiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Algar FC the free kick. André Matos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pedro Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cláudio Santarém went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Óscar Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Algar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Moutinho couldn't finish the play. Pedro Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Costa in the 46th minute of play.

Algar FC's Pedro Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Paredes in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Parceiros FC booed when Algar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Algar FC's goalkeeper Pedro Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Lourenço Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes of play Parceiros FC's André Matos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 61 played minutes Parceiros FC got a freekick which was hit by André Matos. Cláudio Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Cláudio Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If António Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óscar Moutinho's late challenge caught a Parceiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Algar FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Óscar Moutinho hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Hélder Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Algar FC's Cláudio Santarém sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Parceiros FC's Pedro Azevedo got control of the ball when Lourenço Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Santarém in the 94th minute of the match.
