Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rui Magalhães started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jorge Guerreiro's late challenge caught a Sarzedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Guerreiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Pousadinha! In the 8th match minute, SC Pousadinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Leite to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sandro Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If José Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sarzedo's José Simões in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Pousadinha's goalie prevented a goal. Sandro Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. José Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Machado having to interfere. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pousadinha's goalkeeper Sandro Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Rodrigues in the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Machado was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. António Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. David Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Magalhães in the 44th minute of play forced Sarzedo's goalkeeper David Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Simões to make the kick off. José Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Machado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from António Porto. In the 58th match minute, Sarzedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Bessa to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Rui Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Machado having to make a save. Cristóvão Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Sandro Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SC Pousadinha's Sandro Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SC Pousadinha from getting a goal against them. Hélder Monteiro's late challenge caught a SC Pousadinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. David Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When José Simões fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarzedo's protests and gave José Simões a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Pousadinha booed when Sarzedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarzedo's David Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Anjos in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Rui Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sarzedo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sarzedo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
