Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luís Faria made the kick off which started today's match. Jaime Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buraca! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for SC Cachouca. Carlos Magalhães stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving António Dantas. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Buraca's goalkeeper António Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Pedroso. Buraca's António Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Pires in the 13th minute of play. Augusto Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot by Carlos Magalhães from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got António Dantas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Pires in the 17th minute of play forced Buraca's goalkeeper António Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. António Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. When Manuel Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buraca's protests and gave Manuel Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buraca getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Manuel Vaz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Carlos Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cachouca's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heitor Cabral hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Lucas Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cachouca and the Buraca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes SC Cachouca got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Miranda. Buraca's Manuel Vaz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Cachouca. João Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Faria went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luís Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. João Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Luís Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buraca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Pires in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Buraca got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Vaz. Tiago Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Buraca booed when SC Cachouca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luís Faria came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Buraca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Faria couldn't finish the play. Buraca's Luís Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Maia having to interfere. A collision led to SC Cachouca getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Oliveira Viegas hit a great ball. If Luís Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Cachouca's João Maia got control of the ball when Emanuel Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Buraca's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Pires came free, but António Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Buraca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Viegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Emanuel Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buraca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. João Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Buraca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Cachouca throughout the match.
