Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Leite started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ricardo Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Valente having to interfere. In the 4th match minute, SC Fronteira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Américo Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Negreiros's Mariano Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Rodrigues in the 20th minute of play. When SC Fronteira's José Rodrigues in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Negreiros's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Rodrigues in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rodrigues in the 28th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Negreiros got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Amaro. José Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Albertino Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Viana was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Viana in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fronteira's zone, Ricardo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Valente came out of the goal and Ricardo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Valente having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Leite in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Leite's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Negreiros's Mariano Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Negreiros from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Negreiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Silva to maneuver through the defense. If Lúcio Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Albertino Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Rodrigues came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mariano Gonçalves could save by the left post. Américo Amorim struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bernardo Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Negreiros. In the 92nd minute, one of SC Fronteira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Fronteira. Bernardo Valente had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Assis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Albertino Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Valente having to interfere. Bernardo Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Assis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Negreiros had won after a very even match.
