That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Marco Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Filipe Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Carlos Leão made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Segirei FC's Filipe Guarda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Segirei FC's Filipe Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Torres in the 12th minute of play. Duarte Magalhães hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Filipe Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, João Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segirei FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marco Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segirei FC's Filipe Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Leão in the 35th minute of play. Rafael Monteiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Segirei FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Carlos Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Guarda having to interfere. Marco Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Filipe Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Segirei FC booed when SC Urros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Marco Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Marco Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Urros and the Segirei FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Marco Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Joel Bessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Segirei FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 73rd minute, Marco Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bernardo Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes SC Urros got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Jesus. 85 minutes into the game, Joel Bessa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Pedro Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the game, Amílcar Resende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Urros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segirei FC the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, SC Urros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Resende to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
