A collision led to Idanha getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Daniel Costa hit a great ball. Daniel Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Valente in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Idanha got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Soares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Valente in the 9th minute of play forced Idanha's goalkeeper Daniel Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Cristóvão Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Idanha's Daniel Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Magalhães in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Idanha's goalkeeper Daniel Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Cristóvão Valente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pucarica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Pucarica's Cristóvão Valente in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Idanha's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Oliveira Garcia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Daniel Dias came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Pucarica's Cristóvão Valente. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Valente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Idanha booed when Pucarica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Alfredo Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Idanha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucarica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Idanha's Alfredo Soares got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute, Gil Santos made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Porto. Pucarica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveira Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Leal's late challenge caught a Idanha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Leal helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Leal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pucarica's zone, Rogério Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Porto came out of the goal and Rogério Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Pedro Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pucarica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Idanha the free kick. Pedro Brito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gil Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonso Porto having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Gil Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. David Magalhães succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 83rd minute Gil Sá suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 83 minutes, Gil Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Idanha and the Pucarica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Idanha getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gil Santos hit a great ball. If Cristóvão Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Porto came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Idanha's Oliveira Garcia. But to his dismay, Oliveira Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
