Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Simões started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes SC Alapela got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Matias. Barreiras's Cristiano Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Leão in the 8th minute of play. Pedro Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Jorge Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Bernardo Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eduardo Simões came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Barreiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Simões couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Daniel Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Leão in the 28th minute of play forced Barreiras's goalkeeper Cristiano Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pedro Leão, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristiano Cabral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, SC Alapela's Pedro Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Luz struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cristiano Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alapela. Cristiano Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Luz in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute SC Alapela were awarded a corner. Luís Machado went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliveira Brito during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Barreiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Brito to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luís Machado hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Pedro Pinto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Alapela's Daniel Figueiredo didn't even have to move. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Leão to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ricardo Viegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreiras and the SC Alapela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barreiras getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ricardo Viegas hit a great ball. Pedro Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Bernardo Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Alapela's Daniel Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Simões in the 76th minute of play forced SC Alapela's goalkeeper Daniel Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Eduardo Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuel Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Barreiras's Eduardo Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cristiano Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Eduardo Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barreiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cristiano Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cristiano Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barreiras fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Alapela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
