After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Cláudio Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Feitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, one of SC Alapela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Figueiredo having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Inácio Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Alapela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Feitos the free kick. A collision led to SC Alapela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Inácio Vieira hit a great ball. Daniel Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Assunção in the 30th minute of play. When Cristiano Luz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alapela's protests and gave Cristiano Luz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Feitos booed when SC Alapela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Alapela's Daniel Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ribeiro in the 37th minute of play. Daniel Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute, Emanuel Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 49 minutes, Manuel Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Feitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The SC Alapela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Feitos were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Luz to make the kick off. SC Alapela's Daniel Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Alapela from getting a goal against them.
