A collision led to Bustelos FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Catarino Trindade hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Rogério Macedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Bustelos FC's Sebastião Barbosa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bustelos FC's goalkeeper Henrique Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Framqueira FC booed when Bustelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, one of Bustelos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bustelos FC. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Framqueira FC. Joel Faro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henrique Jesus. 0-3. Fernando Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Jesus having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Marco Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Framqueira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Framqueira FC booed when Bustelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 57th minute of the match Cláudio Ferro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cláudio Ferro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 56th minute, one of Bustelos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bustelos FC. Fernando Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Henrique Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bustelos FC's Bruno Castro got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Bruno Castro off the ground. The Framqueira FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
