Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Matos started the match with the kick off. Hugo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Moreira in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Mirateca FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. André Fernandes hit a great ball. Diamantino Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Neto having to interfere. In the 16th minute Carlos Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Mirateca FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Azevedo. When Ufe FC's Diamantino Moreira in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hugo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vasco Campos's late challenge caught a Ufe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Campos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ufe FC booed when Mirateca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hugo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Diamantino Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Mirateca FC's Carlos Brás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Resende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Mirateca FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Moreira was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Jorge Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hugo Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ufe FC's Abel Aguiar got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirateca FC's goalkeeper Hugo Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Mirateca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Campos to maneuver through the defense. Ufe FC's Jorge Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ufe FC's Jorge Tavares fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, Mirateca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Moreira came free, but Hugo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diamantino Moreira's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Jorge Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Moreira in the 86th minute of play forced Mirateca FC's goalkeeper Hugo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, André Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirateca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ufe FC the free kick. If Jorge Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
