Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Ramos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Ricardo Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Algaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Rocha's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Duarte Lima on his right side and into the goal. 14 minutes into the game it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Ricardo Leiria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Duarte Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Abel Cunha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Lima having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Catarino Faro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Algaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Faro. Sandro Rocha, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Duarte Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ramos in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joel Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Cunha was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. André Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. Algaca FC's Joel Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If André Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poceirao's Abel Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Baptista in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joel Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algaca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Algaca FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poceirao were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Baptista to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Poceirao got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Leiria. In the 54th minute, Joel Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Baptista in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Algaca FC's Catarino Faro got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Henrique Lima hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Poceirao's Ricardo Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Machado put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Poceirao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! José Brito shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ricardo Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Lima having to interfere. When Henrique Lima fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algaca FC's protests and gave Henrique Lima a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Algaca FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Henrique Lima hit a great ball. If Ricardo Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Algaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Abel Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Tavares in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poceirao's Sandro Rocha got a free kick in the 94th minute. Abel Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Duarte Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
