Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Duarte Henriques kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Caxieira FC's João Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Brito hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caxieira FC's zone, Fernando Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Teixeira came out of the goal and Fernando Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Henriques in the 14th minute of play. If Duarte Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Bostofrio's Nuno Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Almeida in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Caxieira FC booed when SC Bostofrio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, João Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxieira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, SC Bostofrio's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Almeida came free, but Nuno Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Borges struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Nuno Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caxieira FC. Daniel Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Bostofrio getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Daniel Soares hit a great ball. When Caxieira FC's Pedro Almeida in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Bostofrio's goalie prevented a goal. If João Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Pedro Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Caxieira FC's João Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rui Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Pedro Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Duarte Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bostofrio's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Amaro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If João Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caxieira FC's João Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. João Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Gueifão hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Pedro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, João Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bostofrio's zone, Pedro Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Magalhães came out of the goal and Pedro Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, SC Bostofrio's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Almeida came free, but Nuno Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Caxieira FC's Pedro Borges got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Caxieira FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Bostofrio.
