Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cândido Soares made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquim Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Fernando Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Magalhães having to make a save. Nuno Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Soares in the 12th minute of play. Duarte Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rui Lima fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bostofrio's protests and gave Rui Lima a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Bostofrio getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rui Lima hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Fernando Correia in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Henriques in the 41st minute of play forced Monsul FC's goalkeeper António Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Monsul FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Paredes. André Morais, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Rui Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Fernando Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bostofrio's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SC Bostofrio defense, Cândido Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Magalhães. The SC Bostofrio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Fernando Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but António Brito made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, SC Bostofrio's goal looked a bit too open when José Silva came free, but Nuno Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Bostofrio's Fernando Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, José Silva made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Bostofrio's Nuno Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cláudio Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Correia got free with António Brito in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Monsul FC's Gabriel Ribeiro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Rui Lima hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. José Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Soares during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Brito made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Fernando Correia sent off a good shot on target. Monsul FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Bostofrio for a fine match.
