Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rui Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Manuel Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cardosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Breia the free kick. The supporters of SC Breia booed when SC Cardosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cardosos's zone, Bruno Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Henriques came out of the goal and Bruno Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Manuel Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Breia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Henriques having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, SC Cardosos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Azevedo came free, but Paulo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Paulo Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Joel Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Albertino Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Breia's Albertino Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Breia from getting a goal against them. Paulo Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SC Breia's Bruno Teixeira in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cardosos's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Vale having to interfere. Bruno Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Manuel Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Almeida in the 54th minute of play. Albertino Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When SC Cardosos's Rui Almeida in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Breia's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Luz's late challenge caught a SC Cardosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Luz helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Luz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Manuel Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cardosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Joel Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Leão hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rui Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albertino Vale was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Leão during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, SC Breia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Leão to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Joel Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cardosos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Almeida in the 74th minute of play forced SC Breia's goalkeeper Albertino Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Albertino Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. One of SC Breia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Cardosos:s goal. In the 90th minute, Joel Viana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertino Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. SC Breia's Albertino Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Viana in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, SC Breia's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Almeida came free, but Albertino Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Rafael Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Cardosos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Breia for a fine match.
