Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Silva kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Tomás Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ariques FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paus the free kick. A collision led to Ariques FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tomás Fonseca hit a great ball. Emanuel Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Coimbra's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Carlos Leiria hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Coimbra in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Afonso Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Armando Nascimento sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paus's Emanuel Leite didn't even have to move. After 19 played minutes Paus got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lisboa. Gaspar Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emanuel Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaspar Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luís Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Cristiano Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Ariques FC's Gaspar Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Gaspar Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Coimbra in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 played minutes Paus got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Sousa. The audience was convinced that Vítor Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Leite was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Paus's zone, Gaspar Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Leite came out of the goal and Gaspar Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vítor Coimbra made the kick off in the second half. Amílcar Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luís Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Silva in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Pedroso in the 78th minute of play forced Ariques FC's goalkeeper Luís Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paus's Amílcar Pedroso in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ariques FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute, Vítor Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paus's Emanuel Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Paus from getting a goal against them. Luís Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Pedroso in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Amílcar Pedroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a little luck, Paus's Emanuel Leite got control of the ball when Gaspar Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ariques FC for a fine match.
