Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rui Aguiar's late challenge caught a Teivas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Tomareis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Coelho got free with José Torres in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Torres was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Rui Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rui Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teivas's goalkeeper Afonso Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. António Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Afonso Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, António Gomes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Rui Costa took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for José Torres to make any attempt to save it. If António Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Cristiano Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Gomes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Costa to make the kick off. Cristiano Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rui Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Rafael Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Teivas's Rui Costa in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tomareis FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Gomes in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rui Aguiar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, one of Tomareis FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tomareis FC. Teivas's Afonso Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Teivas from getting a goal against them. After having played for 76 minutes, Rui Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teivas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tomareis FC defense, António Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Torres. The Tomareis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Torres should have stopped the shot. Duarte Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ribeiro having to interfere. Carlos Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Costa's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. José Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Gonçalves in the 97th minute of the match.
