Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Moreira kicked off to start the match. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Xavier Moura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rogério Alves hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Jorge Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Porto having to interfere. Jorge Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Humberto Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, SC Sequeira's Vítor Moreira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, SC Leiradas's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Miranda came free, but Humberto Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Moreira in the 24th minute of play. Humberto Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Miranda's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Humberto Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Leiradas! After taking down the ball on SC Leiradas's corner Eduardo Araújo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Soares quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Leiradas's Emílio Brás got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Miranda in the 44th minute of play forced SC Leiradas's goalkeeper Humberto Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Leiria hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Brás to make the kick off. Xavier Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Soares having to interfere. Vítor Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Leiradas getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Américo Leiria hit a great ball. Carlos Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Brás in the 63rd minute of play. If Emílio Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sequeira's goalkeeper Carlos Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, SC Leiradas's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Moreira came free, but Humberto Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Moura in the 74th minute of play forced SC Sequeira's goalkeeper Carlos Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Vicente Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Leiradas's Humberto Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Moreira in the 88th minute of play. Rafael Cruz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Sequeira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
