Oliveira Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Dantas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Terreiro's Oliveira Castro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 15 minutes into the match, Flamengos's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Castro came free, but João Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Tavares hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Flamengos's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Abel Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengos's Artur Amaral. But to his dismay, Artur Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 69 minutes, Alberto Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Flamengos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristiano Resende fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Oliveira Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Paulo Rodrigues from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got João Dantas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
