Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Serzedo's Rogério Brás started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SC Serzedo's zone, Ricardo Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Faria came out of the goal and Ricardo Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Amadeu Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Óscar Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Pedro Campos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Faria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Rogério Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Serzedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Soares in the 22nd minute of play. When Filipe Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Serzedo's protests and gave Filipe Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Faria having to interfere. Candieiros FC's Domingos Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Faria having to make a save. André Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Domingos Soares made the kick off in the second half. Luís Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Santarém in the 58th minute of the match. Luís Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, André Santarém notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Candieiros FC's Luís Torres. Luís Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Rogério Brás cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Luís Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Faria having to interfere.
