SC Boimo's Alexandre Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Amaro in the 15th minute of play. Delfim Soares hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Jaime Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Amaro in the 27th minute of the match. Eusébio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joel Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Cunha having to interfere. After 32 played minutes SC Pedregosa got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Costa. SC Boimo's Eusébio Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, SC Boimo's Américo Brás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Neves to make the kick off. Miguel Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alexandre Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pedregosa's zone, Américo Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Cunha came out of the goal and Américo Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, SC Pedregosa's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Neves came free, but Joel Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Pedregosa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Vasco Costa hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Queirós kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Miranda. That made the score 0-1 in the 78 minute of play. Miguel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandre Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miguel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
