Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Fernandes in the 4th minute of play forced Extremo's goalkeeper Eduardo Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Rui Pinto managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Extremo's Jorge Leiria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 8 minutes, Paulo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Extremo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Extremo's Eduardo Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Fernandes in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Extremo's Catarino Nogueira got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Extremo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Baptista in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Aguiar saved Extremo from getting behind. André Anjos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Jaime Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Aguiar. Extremo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Paulo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Pinto having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Albertino Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Gavieira and the Extremo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, SC Gavieira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. After the first half SC Gavieira were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Baptista made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gavieira's zone, Paulo Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Pinto came out of the goal and Paulo Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Paulo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Extremo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Extremo booed when SC Gavieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Extremo's Humberto Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Paulo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Extremo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Ramos couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, João Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Aguiar. Extremo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, SC Gavieira's André Anjos got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, João Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When André Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Gavieira's protests and gave André Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. 86 minutes into the game, one of SC Gavieira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Extremo. Humberto Cardoso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rui Pinto. 1-3. Humberto Cardoso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paulo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Pinto having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of SC Gavieira were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Extremo side.
