Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Marco Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Antunes in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Valente saved Serraquinhos from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Soares in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When António Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Messejana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Antunes couldn't finish the play. If Diamantino Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Messejana defense, Amílcar Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Assis. The Messejana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Assis should have stopped the shot. When Diamantino Soares came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Messejana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Soares couldn't finish the play. Messejana's Humberto Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Almeida in the 35th minute of play. Amílcar Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sandro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Serraquinhos's Emílio Campos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Diamantino Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Valente having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Almeida to make the kick off. Humberto Assis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Machado went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Marco Dantas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Amílcar Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 played minutes Serraquinhos got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Campos. Sandro Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílcar Machado took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Assis. Humberto Assis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. António Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Valente having to interfere. António Antuness short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Raul Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 82 played minutes Serraquinhos got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Campos. After 83 played minutes Diamantino Soares rounded Serraquinhos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. António Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serraquinhos's Amílcar Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Serraquinhos's Raul Valente got control of the ball when António Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Messejana's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Almeida came free, but Humberto Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
