Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Viadores's Rodrigo Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mário Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Alves's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Rodrigo Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Viadores's Gaspar Henriques in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varejota's goalie prevented a goal. Gaspar Henriques took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Sousa. If Alexandre Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Henriques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mário Sousa having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Rodrigo Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Joaquim Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Marques's late challenge caught a Varejota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Marques helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Viadores's Jacinto Marques got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The corner led Varejota's Gaspar Machado to fire away a dangerous shot which André Leão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Alexandre Esteves made the kick off in the second half. Mário Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Alves in the 59th minute of play. Gaspar Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Sousa having to interfere. André Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Esteves in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Varejota's Armando Teixeira got a free kick in the 74th minute. Varejota's Mário Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Alves in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Armando Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Viadores's André Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Ramos in the 92nd minute of play. Varejota's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaspar Machado in the 96th minute. Gaspar Machado made a great header on Varejota's corner, it was just that SC Viadores's André Leão managed to reach the ball for a save.
