Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Moutinho kicked off to start the match. Cristiano Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Queirós having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Milhao's zone, Henrique Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Queirós came out of the goal and Henrique Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Queirós came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Nespereira's Henrique Fonseca. But to his dismay, Henrique Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Milhao's Tiago Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Fonseca in the 13th minute of play. João Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Moutinho in the 22nd minute of the match. If Rodrigo Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Queirós having to interfere. Tiago Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Manuel Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Milhao booed when SC Nespereira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Afonso Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Nespereira's Rafael Esteves got a free kick in the 42nd minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Milhao's Tiago Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Milhao from getting a goal against them. Afonso Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Afonso Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Milhao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Moutinho couldn't finish the play. Tiago Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Fonseca in the 70th minute of play. Henrique Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
