Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Viana kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Valente in the 6th minute of play forced SC Estrumil's goalkeeper Alfredo Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Pinho having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, SC Estrumil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Anjos to maneuver through the defense. António Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alfredo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, SC Estrumil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Luís Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Estrumil booed when Calicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calicos FC's Fernando Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Viana in the 34th minute of play. Pedro Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Porto having to interfere. In the 48th minute Luís Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Calicos FC's Fernando Pinho to catch but Adelino Azevedo was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Estrumil fans cheered their team off the field, for while Calicos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
