Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Andrade took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of SC Teamonde booed when Marecos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Henriques during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Marecos FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Henriques. In the 8th match minute, Marecos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tiago Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. SC Teamonde's Tiago Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Borges in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute Viriato Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Eusébio Borges lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Tiago Baptista. Carlos Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Queirós having to interfere. Vítor Jesus hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, SC Teamonde's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Borges came free, but Tiago Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Andrade in the 48th minute of play forced Marecos FC's goalkeeper Armando Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Borges to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes SC Teamonde got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Andrade. 53 minutes into the game, Eusébio Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tiago Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Marecos FC's goalkeeper Armando Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Faria. Carlos Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Armando Queirós made a huge save. After 74 minutes, André Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marecos FC and the SC Teamonde players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Marecos FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. André Fernandes hit a great ball. Tiago Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Carlos Faria came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SC Teamonde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Faria couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Inácio Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marecos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Teamonde the free kick. SC Teamonde's João Neves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Armando Queirós but with some difficulty. Carlos Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Armando Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marecos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Teamonde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
