In the 8th minute, Viriato Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Teamonde booed when SC Daires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viriato Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ricardo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gustavo Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Baptista having to interfere. Tiago Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Vale in the 42nd minute of play. Viriato Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Silva having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Andrade in the 60th minute of play forced SC Daires's goalkeeper Ricardo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Teamonde getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vítor Jesus hit a great ball. Viriato Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Carlos Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Teamonde's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Daires booed when SC Teamonde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustavo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, SC Teamonde's goalkeeper Tiago Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Vale. Oliveira Nascimento's late challenge caught a SC Teamonde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliveira Nascimento helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes SC Daires got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Nascimento. If Gustavo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Teamonde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
