An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Pacheco in the 23rd minute of play forced Marecos FC's goalkeeper Armando Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, André Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marecos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Daires the free kick. After 25 played minutes Marecos FC got a freekick which was hit by André Fernandes. Armando Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Pacheco went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marecos FC's Armando Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Vale in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Gustavo Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Lisboa in the 36th minute of play forced Marecos FC's goalkeeper Armando Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Miranda in the 38th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Borges's late challenge caught a SC Daires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 96th minute, SC Daires's Gustavo Pacheco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Queirós. Armando Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2.
