Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Moncarapacho's Manuel Leiria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Manuel Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moncarapacho's Álvaro Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Nascimento in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Moncarapacho got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Leal. 15 minutes into the match, Moncarapacho's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Nascimento came free, but Álvaro Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Telhoes FC's Mário Nascimento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro Assis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Moncarapacho got a freekick which was hit by Marco Ferro. Manuel Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afonso Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Afonso Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Cruz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match, Manuel Leiria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristóvão Faro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Telhoes FC's Cristóvão Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Telhoes FC from getting a goal against them. Manuel Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristóvão Faro came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Castro in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Assis saved Moncarapacho from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Afonso Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moncarapacho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cristóvão Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Leiria in the 58th minute of play. Nuno Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Álvaro Assis made a huge save. 66 minutes into the game, Henrique Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Telhoes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moncarapacho the free kick. The audience held their breath when Alberto Martins in the 68th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cristóvão Faro's left hand side. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Mário Nascimento sped through Moncarapacho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Álvaro Assis. Cristóvão Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Nuno Castro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-4 via right post in the game's 86th minute. Telhoes FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, Moncarapacho's Álvaro Assis got control of the ball when Nuno Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Telhoes FC's Mário Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Álvaro Assis. Álvaro Assis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The Telhoes FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
