Domingos Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Catarino Faria in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Dias saved SC Soito from getting behind. Cláudio Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Dantas having to interfere. When Basílio Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SC Soito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. Basílio Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Dantas having to interfere. Eusébio Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Pinheiro in the 23rd minute. Joaquim Paredes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Trapa FC's Eusébio Dantas got control of the ball when Basílio Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Faro made a kick off. Catarino Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trapa FC's Eusébio Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Faro in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trapa FC's zone, Cláudio Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Dantas came out of the goal and Cláudio Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Dias having to interfere. Humberto Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
