Gabriel Vale hit a great ball. When Álvaro Torres came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Fiopos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Torres couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by João Gaspar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. João Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nuno Faria made a huge save. Nuno Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nuno Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Cardoso hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Fiopos FC's Eusébio Valente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuno Faria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fiopos FC reached it. With an all-out effort, SC Hospicio's António Branco threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Gomes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Álvaro Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes SC Hospicio got a freekick which was hit by Mário Nascimento. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
