Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Monteiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Carlos Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascao's Rodrigo Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Porto in the 6th minute of play. Carlos Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rodrigo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Cascao's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Viegas came free, but Rodrigo Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Vítor Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Carlos Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Veiga's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Cascao's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Porto came free, but Rodrigo Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manuel Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Vítor Miranda made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rodrigo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cabral having to interfere. Carlos Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Lucas Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cascao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Veiga the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Cascao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cascao's zone, Carlos Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Cabral came out of the goal and Carlos Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Manuel Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Miranda. SC Veiga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to SC Veiga getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Diogo Porto hit a great ball. When Cascao's Manuel Andrade in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Veiga's goalie prevented a goal. Vítor Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Monteiro in the 79th minute of play. Rodrigo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Miranda having to interfere. Manuel Andrade struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Vítor Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascao. Cascao's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
