Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Macedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. SC Sucres's Carlos Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Macedo in the 5th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, SC Sucres's Gustavo Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Guerreiro having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Cristiano Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SC Sucres's Carlos Guerreiro got control of the ball when João Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cambarinho's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Moreira came free, but Rodrigo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Rui Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sucres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Cambarinho's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Moreira came free, but Rodrigo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Morais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. João Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Guerreiro having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Moreira was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to SC Sucres getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Óscar Carneiro hit a great ball. Gustavo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Luís Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambarinho and the SC Sucres players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Sucres booed when Cambarinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Cambarinho's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Moreira came free, but Rodrigo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Morais having to interfere.
