Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Guerreiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Delfim Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joaquim Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Borbolega FC's Simão Morais got a free kick in the 7th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Joaquim Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Heitor Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st match minute, Borbolega FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Garcia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Borbolega FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Simão Morais hit a great ball. Vítor Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ricardo Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borbolega FC. Ricardo Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When João Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borbolega FC's protests and gave João Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Borbolega FC got a freekick which was hit by João Garcia. After having played for 45 minutes, Joaquim Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabomonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Gomes to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Jorge Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borbolega FC and the Cabomonte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cabomonte booed when Borbolega FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Cunha having to interfere. Cabomonte's Ricardo Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Guerreiro in the 63rd minute of play. Joaquim Gomes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 68th minute, Simão Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Cabomonte's Joel Fernandes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Borbolega FC's Heitor Cunha got control of the ball when Delfim Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Lisboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Afonso Bessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabomonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borbolega FC the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Cabomonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Bessa to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Borbolega FC's goalkeeper Heitor Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Aleixo. Delfim Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Cunha having to interfere.
