Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Palhava FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Garcia in the 13th minute of play forced SC Ferrugende's goalkeeper Eduardo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Eduardo Ramos made a huge save. Eduardo Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Dantas went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Rui Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Palhava FC's Eduardo Ramos threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexandre Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 19 played minutes SC Ferrugende got a freekick which was hit by André Veiga. Eduardo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Garcia in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Alexandre Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Ramos. SC Ferrugende's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rui Dantas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 37 minutes in the game, Alexandre Garcia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eduardo Ramos having to interfere. Palhava FC's André Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Borba in the 42nd minute of play. João Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. André Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ferrugende. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 60th match minute, Palhava FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Campos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Azevedo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Ferrugende's Ricardo Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Palhava FC's goalkeeper André Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Borba. If Ricardo Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Rui Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, SC Ferrugende's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Dantas came free, but Eduardo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palhava FC's Domingos Assis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rui Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Ramos having to interfere. If Rui Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Rui Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Ramos. SC Ferrugende's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Rui Dantas scored 5-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palhava FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Ferrugende had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
