Vítor Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrique Moutinho fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concharra FC's protests and gave Henrique Moutinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Concharra FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Henrique Moutinho hit a great ball. Concharra FC's Ricardo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Paiva in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Concharra FC's Fernando Nascimento got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ricardo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tiago Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ricardo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Concharra FC's Amadeu Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lourenço Borba. Lourenço Borba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Rui Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Concharra FC defense, Tiago Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Barbosa. The Concharra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Barbosa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Concharra FC's André Reis got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Henrique Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ricardo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ricardo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Concharra FC's Ricardo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Paiva in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Franco's Joaquim Campos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vítor Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lourenço Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Borba having to interfere. If Vítor Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Nascimento in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Borba saved SC Franco from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Franco's zone, Vítor Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Borba came out of the goal and Vítor Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, SC Franco's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Barros came free, but Lourenço Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Concharra FC's Fernando Nascimento got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Vítor Teixeira from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Concharra FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Paiva in the 93rd minute of play forced Concharra FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
