João Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Cabral having to interfere. Nuno Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. André Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Rocha in the 6th minute of play. Nuno Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Duarte Mendes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. André Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Tavares in the 14th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, SC Ariz's Heitor Rocha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Américo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Duarte Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ariz's Ricardo Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, João Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when João Gomes made the kick off in the second half. When Nuno Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ariz's protests and gave Nuno Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Nuno Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Araújo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ricardo Cabral right hand side. Américo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Armaes's zone, Heitor Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Cardoso came out of the goal and Heitor Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Armaes's António Araújo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Heitor Rocha succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, Armaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Neves to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Ariz's Afonso Morais got a free kick in the 74th minute. Duarte Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heitor Rocha struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. André Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ariz. Américo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Cardoso having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Armaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. SC Ariz's Américo Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Armaes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Ariz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
