In the 3rd minute Nuno Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Amaro in the 4th minute of the match. Marco Amaro struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Pedro Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moleiro FC. Moleiro FC's Fernando Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Garcia in the 14th minute of play. Fernando Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Garcia in the 18th minute of play. Marco Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moleiro FC's Fernando Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Moleiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Canhoes's Vítor Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pedro Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Henriques in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Amaro in the 40th minute of play forced Canhoes's goalkeeper Pedro Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vítor Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Canhoes booed when Moleiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

62 minutes into the match, Canhoes's Vítor Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Castro having to interfere. João Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Castro having to interfere. If Domingos Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Domingos Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Ramos was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Fernando Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
