Ricardo Brito hit a great ball. Manariz's Fábio Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Viegas in the 12th minute of play. Carlos Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Pedroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. Abel Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Abel Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Pedroso having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabrum FC's goalkeeper Marco Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Manariz's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Marques came free, but Fábio Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Carlos Mota sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Brito was the one to do the kick off. The Cabrum FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
