Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. Sérgio Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Marques in the 7th minute. Emanuel Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Adelino Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Leão. Alfarazes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Adelino Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Adelino Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gonçalo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lúcio Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alfarazes's Adelino Amaral got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Marques got free with Sérgio Soares in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adelino Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Sérgio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adelino Amaral made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Massuca getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bernardo Santarém hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Alfarazes's Jorge Viegas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alfarazes reached it. Massuca's Sérgio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Amaral in the 58th minute of play. If Alberto Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Massuca's Carlos Queirós got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Massuca! In the 74th minute Adelino Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Alfarazes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonçalo Cabral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sérgio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Delgado in the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Marques during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Bernardo Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Soares having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alfarazes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Massuca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
