Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Coelho kicked off to start the match. David Bessa's late challenge caught a SC Gramachinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, one of Melga FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melga FC. The referee gave SC Gramachinha a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Álvaro Assunção, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Melga FC's Armando Henriques. 1-0. With a little luck, Melga FC's Armando Henriques got control of the ball when Vítor Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Aleixo in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Gramachinha getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rafael Maia hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, SC Gramachinha's Vítor Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Aleixo in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Melga FC's Eusébio Assis got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot by Álvaro Assunção from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Armando Henriques's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 19 played minutes Melga FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Dias. António Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Armando Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Aleixo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, SC Gramachinha's António Aleixo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. António Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Armando Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gramachinha. If António Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th play minute Vítor Cunha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Armando Henriques. 3-0. Ricardo Campos, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Aleixo was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Assis scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Coelho hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Melga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Cristiano Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luís Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
