Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Anciaes FC's Manuel Mendes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Manuel Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Sousa in the 5th minute of the match. Lourenço Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Leão in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, João Setúbal made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Gaspar. SC Furacasas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eusébio Fonseca's late challenge caught a SC Furacasas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave SC Furacasas a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Paredes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Anciaes FC's Lourenço Nascimento. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Mendes in the 28th minute of play forced SC Furacasas's goalkeeper Paulo Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes, SC Furacasas's João Moniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lourenço Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Furacasas reached it. After a rather tough play, SC Furacasas's Armindo Matos got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Manuel Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Lisboa to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Furacasas booed when Anciaes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Gueifão in the 52nd minute of play forced Anciaes FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Gaspar came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 64th minute. After 69 played minutes Anciaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Fonseca. In the 72ndth minute of the game João Gueifão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anciaes FC's Lourenço Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Lisboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Nascimento having to make a save. Eusébio Fonseca hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lourenço Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lisboa in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Sousa got free with Paulo Gaspar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anciaes FC's Lourenço Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Lisboa in the 81st minute of play. Lourenço Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gueifão in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Gonçalo Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Anciaes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Leão came free, but Lourenço Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eusébio Fonseca was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Anciaes FC:s Lourenço Nascimento showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Paredes:s penalty. When Emanuel Lisboa came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the SC Furacasas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Lisboa couldn't finish the play. The Anciaes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anciaes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
