Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Matos made the kick off which started today's match. If Abel Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Manuel Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Alves. Funchosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Simão Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Faro. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Simão Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Faro having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Joaquim Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Brasfemes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funchosa FC the free kick. Joaquim Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Diamantino Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Rodrigues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lucas Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Nuno Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funchosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Brasfemes's Basílio Ramos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Simão Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vicente Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Nuno Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Neves made a kick off. Simão Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Pereira in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Brasfemes's goalkeeper Vicente Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Valente during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diamantino Valente hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Simão Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funchosa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Abel Borba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lucas Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Funchosa FC's André Trindade got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Funchosa FC's Nuno Moreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Nuno Moreira off the ground. After 74 played minutes Funchosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Moreira. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, André Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funchosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Trindade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, SC Brasfemes's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Neves came free, but Vicente Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When André Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Brasfemes's protests and gave André Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Funchosa FC booed when SC Brasfemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Neves missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 87 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vicente Faro right hand side.
