Cândido Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Basílio Ramos's late challenge caught a Moledo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Moledo FC booed when SC Brasfemes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, one of Moledo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moledo FC. The referee gave SC Brasfemes a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. With a little luck, Moledo FC's Cândido Esteves got control of the ball when Abel Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line.
