Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Eduardo Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merces and the Aldreu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bento Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Faro in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Rui Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Fernando Moutinho in the 14th minute really tested Daniel Vale's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Jacinto Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Jacinto Veiga lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Daniel Vale. Bento Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Gonçalves in the 22nd minute of the match. Manuel Faro scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bento Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 played minutes Merces got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ferreira. After 30 played minutes Merces got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Pinheiro. After having played for 31 minutes, Manuel Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldreu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes Aldreu FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Fernandes. When Francisco Faro fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldreu FC's protests and gave Francisco Faro a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the game, one of Aldreu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Merces. Manuel Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Vale. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Leão in the 46th minute of play forced Aldreu FC's goalkeeper Daniel Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Bento Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Faro in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Jacinto Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merces's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Aldreu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Santos to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Ricardo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Gonçalves in the 66th minute. Bento Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Faro in the 67th minute of the match. If Rui Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Gonçalves went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Bruno Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bento Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Merces's Bento Torres got control of the ball when Bruno Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bento Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Merces players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
