Ricardo Guerreiro was a little too slow when Manuel Faro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Tralhariz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Faro came free, but Ricardo Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ricardo Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Gonçalves got free with Ricardo Guerreiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Aldreu FC's zone, Emílio Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Vale came out of the goal and Emílio Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Jacinto Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldreu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tralhariz FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Jacinto Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Vale having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Rui Leal made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Manuel Faro sped through Tralhariz FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Guerreiro. Ricardo Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. David Reis's late challenge caught a Aldreu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Tralhariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Reis to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Rui Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Vale, 2-1. Emílio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tralhariz FC's David Reis got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered David Reis off the ground. In the 81st minute Bruno Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Tralhariz FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Leal. Manuel Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ricardo Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bruno Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Tralhariz FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Freitas. Aldreu FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
