Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Escalhao's Eduardo Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Antunes in the 3rd minute of play forced Farminhao's goalkeeper Filipe Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Jesus in the 7th minute. Pedro Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Jesus's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Domingos Matias struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. André Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farminhao. Gustavo Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. André Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Farminhao booed when SC Escalhao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Lopes having to interfere. Filipe Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Filipe Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério Pires during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Rogério Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Antunes in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Luz saved Farminhao from getting behind. Domingos Matias took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Lopes. André Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Gustavo Jesus made the kick off in the second half. SC Escalhao's Pedro Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogério Pires hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Escalhao booed when Farminhao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eduardo Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Escalhao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Antunes couldn't finish the play. Lúcio Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lúcio Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. André Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Antunes in the 87th minute of play. SC Escalhao's André Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Jesus in the 89th minute of play. Farminhao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
