The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavier Brás was the one to do the kick off. In the 81st minute of the match, Francisco Gomes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raul Fernandes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mariano Torres in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raul Fernandes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Palao fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Palao's Xavier Brás looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xavier Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vítor Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Palao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Vale to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palao had won after a very even match.
