Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Jacinto Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abunheira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Cabral in the 6th minute of play forced SC Beca's goalkeeper Vítor Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mariano Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Castro. Abunheira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Mariano Torres came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Beca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Torres couldn't finish the play. When Carlos Melo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abunheira FC's protests and gave Carlos Melo a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Abunheira FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Melo. 18 minutes into the match, Abunheira FC's goalkeeper Fernando Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Torres. With his leg Fernando Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when SC Beca's Mariano Torres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Abunheira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Maia to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Pinheiro in the 35th minute of the match. If Jacinto Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vítor Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Torress short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Fernando Castro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Gomes to make the kick off. SC Beca's Vítor Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save SC Beca from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, SC Beca's Vítor Simões got control of the ball when Jacinto Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Simões was a little too slow when Ricardo Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Abunheira FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. David Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Francisco Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Castro. Abunheira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mariano Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Castro having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Francisco Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Beca getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Francisco Leite hit a great ball. Filipe Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filipe Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Francisco Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Beca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Abunheira FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
