Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Neto got the match started through his kick off. Bento Costa scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenço Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Sérgio Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Cunha took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Baptista. Fábio Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Jaime Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catasol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fábio Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Cunha in the 47th minute of play forced Catasol's goalkeeper Fábio Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Nuno Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Ceiroquinho FC's Lourenço Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Miranda in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute Jaime Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Gonçalo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lourenço Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adolfo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Bento Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Sérgio Assis charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Assis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Sérgio Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jaime Neto's late challenge caught a Ceiroquinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Neto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Catasol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nuno Cunha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ceiroquinho FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
